The long anticipated WhatsApp video calling features that we all have been waiting patiently for is now out but still in beta version. The video call button isn’t functional yet but we expect it to be in next update. Though it would still allow your Android device to start making use of the video calling feature.
As of now we can find so many messaging apps which has video calling feature in it like; Facebook, Skype, Viber, Hangout, Messenger, etc. WhatsApp seems to be left behind but due to the progress made on adding the video calling feature to their app, I would say by next month June we should be expecting the full version from them.
◾ As known, the beta version of the app is a download from a third party source, so you’ll need to enable “unknown source”. To enable, go to Settings > Security, scroll down and enable the unknown source option which enables you download apps outside Google playstore.
That’s all you need to know for the WhatsApp video call feature for Android phones.
